A nice place to stay Positive: We loved the retro decor and quiet location

Comfortable, warm and quirky with everything needed for a short break Positive: Go Retro was a lovely place to stay over the Easter weekend. It was very clean, comfortable and warm and was positioned in a quiet street about a nice 20 minute walk to town. I had some issues with the television when I first arrived on Good Friday and after a conversation with the owner (Dee) it was fixed within an hour. Something I didn't expect on Good Friday! The retro feel bought a lot of happy memories of my childhood home in the 70's. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Positive: The vibe and retro set up is incredible, the love and attention to detail is abundantly felt and the place has a real comfy feel too. It's location is fantastic as so close to the central of the Daylesford township. We thought Dee the host was very responsive and we had a lovely two night stay. Negative: Not a fan of the bed, thought it was harder, more uncomfortable than beds in past accommodation we've had of similar style and price range, it was ok but maybe a cushioned mattress topper would give a lofty cloud layer of softness element. In summer I'd make sure the deck outdoor furniture and garden were looking their best too as it's a great quiet spot to sit and enjoy the privacy and bird song aspects that are part of the place.

Positive: The room is adorable and the decor is great. Everything was clean and the host was very accommodating.
